NIGERIA/FRANCE FIRM AGREEMENT: EMBASSY REP INSPECTS NFC FACILITIES

The Regional Audio Visual Attache of the Embassy of France in Nigeria, Yoann Taihiuame has paid a scheduled facility tour of film production and training facilities at the Nigerian Film Corporation  and National Film Institute in Jos.
Some of the facilities inspected include the NFC Cine Film Lab, Film Editing suite,  NFC Sound Stage Complex, The NFC Recording Studio. Other Facilities are the Vault of the National Film Video and Sound Archive(NFVSA) which has over 3000 titles  in its holdings dating back to the early 30s, The Digital Scanning Machine of the NFVSA,, the NFI Audio visual Centre, E-Library,  Open Amphitheatre, hostels and other physical infrastructure at the both the Township and Permanent Sites of the Film Institute in Jos.

The tour afforded the French Embassy representative the opportunity to have a firsthand assessment of the facilities on ground preparatory to the takeoff of the partnership agreement which the NFC signed  with the its France counterpart , the CNC early in 2020.

Mr Taihaoume who was received by the Management of the NFC led by MD Dr Chidia Madukwe said he was delighted by the efforts of the Corporation and promised of his country's readiness to walk through on the agreements reached.
