OHAFIA STUDENTS LEADS COVID-19 AWARENESS, DONATE MADE IN OHAFIA MASKS

The Ohafia umbrella students union, National Association of Ohafia Students Worldwide yesterday, 18 April 2020 rallied round Ohafia in a sensitization campaign against Coronavirus. 

The union through her President General, Comr. Idika Michael infomed the people on need for personal protective measures to contain the spread of the disease, saying also that the program is fully sponsored by the union as otherwise speculated by the public. 
The apex student union also donated over 325 made in Ohafia face masks to all community visited, which includes Elu, Amaekpu, Ihenta, Eziafor, Akanu, Nkwebi and Okagwe. 
These masks were all produced by the students. 

The donations demonstrate a show of support for the community and are in recognition of the economic hardship Nigerians are going through due to lockdown and restrictions imposed by the government, to contain the spread of the disease.

Comr. Eze Christian also told the people to eschew fake information from the public and always follow health and government regulations until the end of this pandemic.

The visited communities were all happy for the gesture of students.
In his speech, the Ezieogo of Akanu, Ezie Mba Odo Okereke when visited at his palace highly appreciated the innovative and proactive effort of the students urging them to be more interested in their academic and society.
