Hon. Chief Fred Eke Idika emerges Ohafia Man of Integrity 2021

 


A former Ohafia LGA Chairman, Hon. Chief Fred Eke Idika has bagged the Ohafia Man of Integrity award at the just concluded Ohafia Outstanding Performance Award (Ohafia Home Coming 2021) organized by National Association of Ohafia Students Worldwide. 


This award came barely after one year he was conferred the Ekwueme 1 of Ohafia.

In a statement by the President General of the association, Comr. Idika Michael, he pointed that Hon. Chief Fred Eke Idika is a man with high moral standing and more than ordinary endowments putting honesty in all engagements.

He went further to say that "Chief Fred was honoured with the award because of his personality, diligence, patriotism and honesty," describing him as one of the best politicians with integrity in Abia State, who had demonstrated uncommon humility among politicians.

“His unassuming nature, loyalty and obedience to laid-down rules and regulations as a politician, even when not convenient endeared him to us and has exuded humility and truthfulness at all time," he said.


Chief Fred Eke's selection for the award went through a rigorous process during the association’s National Executive Members Nomination Exercise, which produced him as the best among two others, after-which voting was done, in which he emerged as the most deserving candidate for the award.
