ABHA 2023: THE NEED TO SUPPORT SOMEONE THAT KNOWS THE LAW

 By Ugochukwu Asiegbu

_"Lawmakers, who rarely have an insight of a truly progressive and civilised society, decide on the parameters of law based on their biases and knacks, and rarely on actual scientific evidence. It is like asking the blind to show the path. So, for law to be of actual use in the society at our current evolutionary stage,it must be cooked in the vessel of scientific findings with the fire of reasoning and compassion"_

The dangers of leaving the business of lawmaking in the hands of those who does not understand the intricacies and rudiments of the law is akin to asking the blind to show the path. We cannot afford to entrust our destiny in the hands of those who know nothing about the law but are promising to make good laws for the well-being of the people. It is obvious that one cannot give what he does not have.

It is high time we call a spade, a spade and put a round peg in a round hole. Barrister Emmanuel Mba Ukweni, a seasoned lawyer with an in-dept knowledge and understanding of the law is here to show the roadmap and ensure that good laws are made for the well-being of the people when given the opportunity to represent the good people of Ohafia South Constituency in the State House of Assembly.

Barrister Emmanuel Mba Ukweni is well known for his advocacy and eloquence in Court. He will bring to bear his wealth of experience in galvanising and rooting for good laws when given the opportunity to serve. He understands the language of the law,the effect the law will have on the people and how the court will interpret the law when the law is challenged in court.

Let's support the man that knows the law and expect good laws for the well-being of Ohafia South Constituency and Abia State in general.
