HON. UKO NKOLE BEGINS CONSULTATIONS WITH COMMISSIONING OF BUILDING PROJECTS IN AROCHUKWU COMMUNITIES


The frontline Peoples Democratic Party aspirant for the Abia North Senatorial Zone for the 2023 general elections and Member representing Arochukwu /Ohafia Federal Constituency, Hon. Uko Nkole has commenced his consultations in Arochukwu clan with commissioning of building projects he built for the people. 



Speaking while commissioning the building projects including Women's Hall of NDI IJOMA EBUNU in Amanagwu and Nzuko Arochukwu Women's Wing World Wide's

Fashion Skills Acquisition Centre, Ugwuavo all in Arochukwu clan Arochukwu LGA, Hon. Uko Nkole assured the people of Arochukwu of more dividends of democracy. 


Hon. Nkole informed them of his decision to contest for the Abia North Senatorial seat and requested their support for him. He equally disclosed that he has ensured that the two contractors handling the reconstruction of the ongoing Bende-Ohafia-Arochukwu Road Section 1&11 he facilitated since 2017 handled by Messers Hartland Setraco and the Arochukwu-Ohafia-Abiriba roads are well funded and on site respectively, saying that he understands the importance of good road network for the Arochukwu people and also cumulatively it is an unprecedented development in the history of representation in the Federal Constituency and in the zone whereby a total of over 110km road stretch is being constructed simultaneously and by a Grade A rated construction firm.






Hon. Uko Nkole, who revealed that Bende Ohafia/Arochukwu section one road project which stretches from Old Soldier Junction in Ohafia LGA to Obinto Ihechiuwa which he attracted since 2017  has been mobilized and is back to site said that the work has  staggered up to Umuchiakuma. He also informed that that the contractor handling another section of the road construction from Ugwuakuma to Obinto is back to site with earth work stone base works done. 


The Senatorial hopeful said the second phase of the Bende /Ohafia road which started from Old Soldier junction is now moving towards to Abam  and revealed that he has equally facilited works on Amuvi to Ututu Road which 2 kilometres has been done so far and Arochukwu to Itu road is ongoing and has reached ASCETA, maintaining that these and other projects he has done for the Aro people. 


He assured that he will communicate their desire in change of the use from a geriatric centre to the now skill acquisition centre will be communicated to the Federal Government for future record purposes and proper documentation and admonished the Womeñ to maximize its usage while challenging the youths to protect the facility . 


Also speaking, the newly elected President General, Nzuko Arochukwu World Wide, Sir Nnadozie Udensi 

thanked Hon. Uko Nkole for the great feat achieved by him and described it as a dividends of democracy. He praised the giant strides of the rep member accross the constituency and said that what Hon. Uko Nkole has been doing are evidences of good representations, adding that they are legacies on the sands of times which his people will never forget. 


In her address, the President General, Nzuko Arochukwu Women's Wing World Wide, Lady Bright Elekwa saluted Hon. Uko Nkole under whose auspices the project was achieved. 

She noted that Hon. Uko Nkole embarked on refixing the building even after it was vandalized during the Covid-19 pandemic and assured of their unflinching support to Hon. Uko Nkole.


Also, PDP party chieftains Mazi Emmanuel Okwuobasi Kanu , Maazi Ikenga Ijomanta, the Youth Chairman, Egolu Nwosu and Eze Nwaanyị Nde Ijoma, Amanagwu village, Ezinne Florence Umeham among others hailed Hon. Uko Nkole for his large heart and benovolence to the Aro people and maintained that he has their support any day . 

 

Earlier at the commissioning of a civic hall for built for the women of NDI IJOMA EBUNU of Amanagwu, Arochukwu clan, Hon. Uko Nkole received prayers, blessings and overwhelming adoption in support of his Senatorial ambition by these members of the grassroot.

In their various speeches, the Chairman Board of Trustees, Nzuko Aro Worldwide Professor of History with University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Maazi Okorie Ijioma, the Traditional Head of  the community Maazi Egeolu Ijioma and the President General, worldwide of Amanagwu, Arochukwu, Maazi Chimee Ikenga said they are happy with the representation of Hon. Uko Nkole, who has affected their lives positively. They affirmed that Hon. Uko Nkole has continously shown solidiarity to them and given the community a facelift including building a hall for women of NDI  IJOMA EBUNU which he was commissioning and said he must be rewarded for good work done.
