TRIBUNAL: UKIWE FLOORS ETIOKWE, DECLARED AUTHENTIC WINNER OF OHAFIA LGA

 The Abia State Local Government Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Umuahia has declared Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe as the authentic winner of Ohafia Local Government poll.



The Tribunal Thursday dismissed the petition filed against Ukiwe by the All Progressives Congress (APC)


The party alongside the candidate, Mr. Kalu Mba, had asked the tribunal to nullify the election of Dr. Ukiwe on the ground that he was unlawfully declared as the Local Government Chairman by the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC).


While delivering the judgement, the tribunal dismissed the petition on grounds of lacking in merit. The tribunal said the petitioners failed to prove their case.

Dr. Sampson Orji Returns Expression of Interest and Normination Form

 Hon. (Dr.) Sampson Orji (Scuorj), returns his completed expression of interest and Nomination forms at the PDP national secretariat.  Scuorj was a member of the the Abia house of Assembly.
