ABIA: OBINGWA LG GETS NEW BOSS AS COUNCILORS IMPEACH EMBATTLED HON. IBE NWOKE

 



Obingwa Local Government Council today inaugurated Hon. Uloma Nwogu as her new local government Chairman.
This happened barely one week police personnel were invited to the Mgboko headquarters of Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA) of Abia State following tension over a plot to impeach its Chairman, Ibe Nwoke.
Hon. Nwogu was the Deputy Chairman to Hon. Ibe Nwoke.
Obingwa is the LGA headquarters of Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, who is from the Umuobiakwa community, about 10-15 minutes drive away.

Dr. Sampson Orji Returns Expression of Interest and Normination Form

 Hon. (Dr.) Sampson Orji (Scuorj), returns his completed expression of interest and Nomination forms at the PDP national secretariat.  Scuorj was a member of the the Abia house of Assembly. He also served as commissioner for commerce and Industry and was also vice chairman PDP, Abia North.  At some point he was the chairman, State Congress Committee, PDP, Abia State.  He also served as TC Chairman for Arochukwu local government council.
