OSUN 2022: ABIA COMMISSIONER CONGRATULATES SEN. ADELEKE



The Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources and Public Utilities, Hon. Rtn. Kingsley Eke Imaga has joined the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, the people of Osun State and the entire PDP family to congratulate the Governor-elect of Osun State, Chief Adeleke Ademola Jackson Nurudeen,  on his overwhelming victory in the just-concluded gubernatorial election in the state on Saturday, July 16, 2022.


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Adeleke the winner of the election after polling 403,371  votes to defeat its closest rival, the All Progressives Congress Party, which garnered 375,027 and other parties that participated in Saturday’s election.


Hon. Kingsley Imaga in his congratulatory message described Adeleke's victory as the affirmation of the people's mandate, adding that he is confident in the ability of Adeleke to perform creditably well and rebuild the State through accountable and efficient governance.


" We thank God for the victory; a victory for the people of Osun State and the PDP family. Adeleke's victory is an experimental assertion of his political wit and astuteness and I have no doubt in his capacity to bring his wealth of experience into governance and give the people of Osun State, unprecedented dividends of democracy", added.


Hon. Imaga on behalf of his family and the entire staff and management of the Ministry of Public Utilities and Water Resources wishes Adeleke God's grace, wisdom and strength as he prepares to restore Democratic excellence and good governance to Osun State.
