Ohafia Women Unites, Drum support for PDP

 The women of Ohafia Local Government Area has reiterated and affirmed their support to the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of 2023 election.



The women made this known today during the inauguration of Peoples Democratic Party - Women's Wing campaign (Office of Her Excellency, Dr. Nkechi Ikpeazu) team inauguration in Ohafia Local Government Area Secretariate.



The Cordinator, Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Organisation - Women's Wing, Lady Joy Ndukwe in her speech appreciated the women for their continues loyalty to the party over the years, saying that they are the source of all party victory.


While admonishing the women, Lady Ndukwe encouraged them to be more focused on the significant progress in the mission to deepen the acceptance of the PDP across Ohafia Local Government, urging them to build stronger relationship with people of their various wards and units especially the women through advocacy and inclusiveness for the benefit of their various candidates.


In her words, the women leader, Peoples Democratic Party, Ohafia LGA, Mrs. Ngozi Eni urged the women to look forward to the future and commit to the process, unity and strengthening of the party especially at this point that all collective effort is needed.



In response, the Local Government Ladies Association (LOGLA) chairperson, Madam Agbogo Chinyere Okorie reiterated and affirmed their concern and support to the government and to deliver all candidates of the party.


Also responding, Madam Ogbonne Mgbachi, Isiama Ward PDP women leader while expressing concern for the party thanked the cordinator of Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Organisation - Women's Wing for organizing meeting at this ideal time.

She further stated that the women are poised to deliver in their various polling unites for all candidates of the party, saying that 5/5 is the election code.



Other activity at the meeting includes the inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Organisation - Women's Wing, Ohafia LGA which was carried out by Lady Nkaku Elizabeth Okoro. 


Also in attendance at the meeting are Hon. Tessy Odum, member Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Organisation, Lady Nkaku Elizabeth Okoro - Secretary to the Ohafia Local Government, Comr. Chidinma Jonah - National Council of Women Society, Ohafia LGA Cordinator, women leaders of Peoples Democratic Party from Ohafia LGA, Women Cordinator, Follow Beta Foundation, Nwachinemere Foundation, Mandela Foundation and Ekea Foundation.
