Ekwueme Ohafia Dumps Party, Appreciate Supporters



The former Transition Chairman, Ohafia Local Government & the New Nigeria People's Party Arochukwu/Ohafia House of Representatives candidate in the last 2023 general elections, Chief Fred Eke Idika, Ekwueme Ohafia, has resigned his membership of the party.



In a statement made available to journalists in Umuahia by his media office, Chief Idika said that his resignation was after due consultations with his constituents & thanked the party for providing him the platform to contest the last election. 

The former Transition Chairman commended his supporters for their steadfastness & charged them to remain calm & wait on the next line of action.

The resignation letter was addressed to the Chairman, NNPP, Ebemoha ward & copied to the National Chairman of the Part.

Chief Fred Idika is known to command wide followship in the local government.
